Yizhi (Louis) Liu

I am an Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems at the Fox School of Business, Temple University. My research focuses on calibrating human–AI decisions.

I study how reliable decisions emerge from the evidence available to humans and AI, the judgments they form from that evidence, and the integration of potentially different judgments into a final decision.

I investigate these questions through experiments, machine learning, and causal inference, and use AI both as an object of study and as a means to measure and improve decision making.
