Yizhi (Louis) Liu
I am an Assistant Professor in Management Information Systems at the Fox School of Business, Temple University. My research focuses on GenAI intervention in two senses. First, I study how GenAI enters and reshapes judgment processes. Second, I use GenAI as a research instrument to construct experimental settings, identify causal effects, measure bias, and design mechanisms for mitigation and repair.
Methodologically, I mainly use deep learning and experiments to investigate these questions. My work integrates design science and empirical economics in Information Systems. Before returning to academia, I worked in the financial industry for two years.
